From beginning lessons to master classes,
Seattle Drum School
offers a variety of classes for every level and every need.
We, at SDS , feel there is no substitute for
the care and personalized attention available through one on one
instruction. In no other way can one's individual strengths, needs,
or particular goals be so effectively addressed.
At SDS , we offer classes which explore
music allowing opportunities for a more complete education in the
world of drumming. In addition to our selection of percussion and
rhythm classes, we also offer instruction for guitar and electric
bass.
SDS
hosts a collection of ensembles and workshops geared
towards educating students in a group situation. These classes focus
on structured rhythm section skills, as well as instrumental
improvisation. Hand percussion is at the root of traditional rhythm
music, originating in the areas of Cuba, Brazil, and Africa. |
