Sam "Damage" Durham is a professional guitarist who loves to teach people how to speak the language of music. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Berklee College of Music. That education enhances his ability to communicate concepts to his students. Formerly the "Lead Guitar Instructor" at the School of Rock, he has plenty of experience teaching both beginners and advanced students, as his responsibilities included teaching all new students, as well as, all of the advanced guitarists there. He currently plays lead guitar in the Seattle based band, Astrovan. He specializes in rock, blues, funk, jazz, reggae, and on and on. Basically, it's an openness and love for all styles that is fundamental to his musical philosophy. Feel and vibe are essential components that need to be developed and accentuated. He will demystify the super secret methods of the masters and break them down so that you can play with the best.
