| Bring the family and some cookies to the L.A.B. on Sunday, Dec. 11th at 7:00pm to breathe and relax and enjoy being part of the magical Seattle Drum School community. Entertainment for the evening will be "Honey Pie" featuring Geoff Harper on bass, Dawn Clement on voice, piano and keys, Kristy Smith on voice, guitar and ukulele, and Steve Smith on drums. This amazing collection of musicians will perform some of their signature jazz-tinged pop originals and some holiday songs for your enjoyment. You will feel better when you leave this event. Promise.

| Join us for the Seattle Drum School’s Quarterly Student Showcase
happening this Sunday, December 4th, at noon in the L.A.B.!
The students from our One Year Certificate Program for Drummers will be performing Afro-Cuban and
percussion pieces as an ensemble and individually on drum set with a jazz rhythm section. Bring your friends and family!

| Denny Seiwell will be available for private drum lessons at Seattle Drum School this Saturday, October 22nd, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM and Monday, October 24th, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Lessons cost $75.00 per hour (Denny’s L.A. rate is $100.00 per hour). Lessons are booked on a first-call first-served basis. To book lessons please give us a call at 206.364.8815.

| A variety show to benefit Seattle Drum School’s National Drum Corps
Seattle Drum School invites you to this musical review with performances by Kenmore and District Pipe Band, Kristin Roy Flamenca, The Smiffs (Steve and Kristy Smith), The National Drum Corps with Scott Robertson and Steve Roy, led by four time world champion snare drummer John Scullion. Show is this Friday, October 14th at 7:30pm in the L.A.B. Suggested donation is $10, families $30 - give ‘til it feels good! Read on for more information.

The Collective Sound Academy Brings Unique Program and Performance to the L.A.B.
Young musicians from The Collective Sound’s Portland Summer Academy will present a free, all-ages performance (40 minutes) at the L.A.B. in Seattle, August 2nd at 8p.m. Performers will showcase original songs written and produced during the three-week summer camp.
TCS Summer Academy ( http://www.thecollectivesound.com/ ) offers a unique music intensive in songwriting, recording, creating music videos and performing rock/pop/electronic music. Each year, students ages 12 to 18 come from around the world to attend the program which was incepted in 1998. In addition to Portland, 2011 TCS Summer Academies have been offered in Southern California and Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

SDS Drum Corps will be competing at the Seattle Highland Games at Enumclaw -- fanfare competition in Grade IV, Grade III, and Grade II drum lines. The corps will be warming up in the band tent area starting at 9AM. Competition is scheduled for 10:30AM. Summer Music Camps are approaching this month! Several people have asked us extend one of the Rock Band Camps into a two week camp on July25th-29th continuing through August 1st-5th. The cost of the two week camp will be $600. If you are interested in signing up for a two week camp give us a call at (206)364-8815 or e-mail us at admin@seattledrumschool.com.
